19 Jan 2015. Shares of Greek banks fall on Monday 19 Jan 2015, as Syriza is likely to win elections on Sunday January 25, 2015.
The election winner gets 50 bonus seats in Greek parliament, which consists of 300 seats in total.
So gaining elections with 1/3 of votes and being number one gives 1/3 of votes + 50 bonus = 1/3 * 300 + 50 = 150 seats, which is half of parliament.
